We come to another passage in 1 Peter that has such great teaching, which has lost it's true value and force. On the one hand, it has upheld forms of authority and abuse it never intended to commend. On the other hand, it has been rejected as antiquated and unuseful for modern day application. 

In this message, we hope to talk about the nuances of this passage, look at it with fresh eyes, and shed our old perspectives about it. In so doing we hope that we can recover the truth and beauty of Peter's pastoral teaching and apply it to our lives.
