As we continue our series studying 1 Peter, we encounter a question: will we accept the wisdom, instruction and encouragement found in this ancient letter? Considering the historical context of 1 Peter's original audience, we propose reasons why we who are feeling more and more alienated in our current culture will find that this ancient letter does in fact offer good guidance for us today.
